Evidence

Separate what the platform can do from what a specific event has proved.

ENTITY keeps BTG-controlled qualification, outside reproduction, real-world economic lineage, independently authored implementation, independent security review and institutional use as separate evidence classes. The platform implements a full market/economic fabric; each public case advances only when evidence supports that state.

Evidence ladder

Not every pass, merge or receipt proves the same thing.

1 · BTG-controlled qualification

Tests executed against code/campaigns controlled by BTG. Engineering evidence—not unrelated validation.

2 · External reproduction

An unrelated person independently runs a published BTG baseline and reports environment, results and hashes.

3 · External real-world consequence

An unrelated upstream project reviews/tests/accepts BTG work, providing externally controlled evidence of technical adoption.

4 · Independent implementation

An unrelated implementer builds from public protocol/conformance material using a repository and architecture they control.

5 · Independent security / standards review

Outside reviewers control methodology and report boundaries, incompatibilities or findings.

6 · Institutional/commercial use

Organizations exercise the system against real operational, market or integration requirements with independently controlled evidence.

Real-world economic lineage

Vector and Memnox are both accepted external cases.

The public ledger now records two external software contributions through exact lineage, review/CI, upstream merge and ENTITY acceptance state. Both are PRO_BONO, with realized cash of USD 0 and payment_settled=false.

Vector #26501 / PR #26504

Upstream merged on September 28, 2026. ENTITY records UPSTREAM_ACCEPTED_RECORDED, exact accepted commit lineage and reconstructable evidence.

Memnox #46 / PR #86

Maintainer-reviewed, follow-up applied, CI/security green and upstream merged on September 29, 2026. ENTITY records UPSTREAM_ACCEPTED_RECORDED.

EXTERNAL PROBLEM → BTG CONTRIBUTION → EXACT CHANGE-SET → REVIEW / CI → UPSTREAM ACCEPTANCE → ENTITY / BTDU LINEAGE → ECONOMIC STATE
Why this matters: these are not simply code-ingestion demonstrations. They show real external events entering ENTITY's causal/economic history. The same runtime implements contribution instruments, venues, balances, listings, orders/RFQs/auctions, trades, clearing, entitlements, usage, revenue logic and settlement evidence; the two current case receipts only claim the states actually evidenced.

External reproduction

A real outside baseline reproduction also exists.

An unrelated GitHub contributor reproduced the Java v3.4.2 26-vector campaign with matching sealed-kit/canonical-result hashes. That is meaningful external reproducibility evidence, while remaining distinct from an independently authored ENTITY implementation.

What comes next

The stronger evidence gates remain deliberately open.

Independent implementation

Build ENTITY semantics from public material without BTG implementation code.

Independent challenge →

Market/economic qualification

Exercise venues, instruments, execution, recovery, settlement verification and participation against independent systems/workloads.

Market model →

Independent security/institutional review

Outside assessors or institutions define methodology and control evidence.

Evidence boundary: upstream acceptance does not create payment; a market capability does not mean every public case exercised it; a signature does not prove objective truth; provenance does not create ownership; and BTG-controlled qualification remains distinct from unrelated validation.
