Portability & Recovery

The sovereign identity and its authoritative state must survive provider, host, device or application replacement. Recovery restores continuity; it does not issue a new root and call it the same Entity.

Continuity conditions

• Same Entity ID.
• Verifiable key rotation/recovery chain.
• Historical signatures remain verifiable.
• Rights/evidence/provenance interpretations remain tied to their original versions.
• Export/recovery does not require the old provider to act as sovereign authority.

Strong test

Export from environment A, destroy/isolate state, recover in environment B, recompute deterministic/semantic roots and verify the same authorization conclusions plus restored signing capability.
